Can you do school subjects through your computer.. In Australia we call it off campus Now your older you know what you want and know how hard to study as you have matured. If it takes it a little time with no social life you know at the end of the course you will have a better job and a social life. Good luck

James Madison information
*accepts 60% of applicants
*70% of first year students are in state students
*53% of first year students had a high school GPA of 3.75+
*29% of first year students had a high school GPA between 3.5 – 3.74
*A note about the college's admission requirements: Rigor of high school curriculum, as shown by the quantity and quality of courses, most important. Class rank or GPA, test scores, extracurricular activities, special skills or talents important. Counselor recommendation considered.

It seems to me that you'll have a pretty good chance of getting into this college. You are attending a state college so that's going to improve your chances, your GPA is fairly high and you have decent SAT scores.
Make sure you check to see if they have your major and take a college visit if you haven't already to see if you like the atmosphere. Overall, I think you'll get into this college.
Virginia Tech information
*67% of applicants are accepted
*69% of first year students are in state students
*19% of first year students had a high school GPA between 3.5 – 3.74
*A note about the college's admission requirements: High school course work, grades, test scores most important.

2. Math: 580 – 680
3. Writing: 540 – 630
*95% of those who submitted their SAT scores were in these ranges.
Again, make sure you look into the majors to see if they have the programs that you want to study. Take a college visit and see if you like it. Virginia Tech, in my opinion, is a more well known college and is harder to get into. I'm not sure your SAT scores are high enough, but it's at least worth an attempt to apply and see if you can get in.
Blessings
Well, most dental schools stipulate that prereq's must have been taken less than five years ago and may require other pre-reqs that you might not have satisfied the first time around so I would recommend that you enroll in a post-bacc program at the most prestigious school in your area for aspiring medical/dental students and study hard for your DATs.
Good luck!
Also could mean you are not flossing enough in that area. If it bleeds when u floss that area needs some extra attention or so i am told.
I can understand where you're coming from – I was the same way. I just had lots of different interests and couldn't figure out how to pick just one. But randomly, I discovered a profession that had never even crossed my mind right before I was supposed to start my junior year at a university. Instead, I withdrew & enrolled in a technical college to start studying Sonography. You will figure it out, don't put so much pressure on yourself.
Since you know those are all things you are interested in, you need to investigate them each further & see which one really fits you best. Really research them – online, talk to people in the field, talk to students studying the field, & job shadow the career yourself. This will help you figure out what all is involved in each career on a daily basis.

Next, ask yourself some hard questions.
How many years are you willing to invest in education? How much money would you *like* to be making; what's a range your comfortable with? Do you prefer to work more independently or with others? Are you ok with having strange hours (on call, weekends, some holidays, night shift)?
While no one question should make your decision (or "cloud" your decision), they are important and remind you of the big picture and the future. Good luck
floss pick get the beef jerky out of your teeth . LOL
useful post thanq
im 11 and i want to be an orthodontist when im older and what i’ve learned is another way to clean your teeth with out mouth wash is fill a glass or bottle with clean filtered water and then put toothpaste in it. then really dmix it in your mouth and spit it out.:) thats what i learned
Depending on your state, some require that you have a minimum level of education for a Dental Assistant. This comes into play if you are looking for a State Certification. Some Dental offices will offer training on the job for their assistants, while others expect you to come in with a basic knowledge of Dentistry. This education would come from some Math and Science classes; however they would not necessarily be as intense as what a Hygienist would take.
I am looking at the Dental Hygienist program where I live, and I must admit that science was not my strongest attribute when I went to school the first time around. But seeing that in order for me to continue with my choice- science was a mandatory thing, I focused on the task at hand and did what I needed to in order to complete my requirement. Math- was not as hard of a requirement for the program that I applied (I had it and did well the first time around in college), but I have checked into a couple of other schools that offered a Hygiene program and some were offering a Medical Mathematics course as part of their requirements.
You need to look at what requirements you would need in order to obtain your states requirements. If this is possible for you to obtain for a Dental Assistant- then go for it. For the Dental Hygienist aspect of your question- if you are not good in those areas relating to Math and Science, then this would probably not be your wisest choice.
Who knows, you might become an dental assistant and decide later to go for your Hygienists certification with your experience. Take one step at a time and you will find the right path.
Good Luck with your choice.
Do we have to brush 2 time a day or 1 time is enough?
its tiring yah know..hehehe but i got to do it for my teeth…
Prerequisites need to be completed before you begin the program. So yes, do the list of classes once you get to college, and then apply to the program.
They should also offer some info sessions so you can get a better understanding. If they don't then speak with someone in the dental hygiene office.
no it’s cuz u got gingivitis or some other kind of gum infection D:
